Default Samsung DLP TV

I have a Samsung DLP tv with an HDMI input, does this mean the tv plays at 1080p? I can't find a place in my manual that says it's 1080p or 1080i. I'm hoping that because it comes with a HDMI input it's 1080p.

Thanks,

Gibbs

Yes, if you have ever watched OTA-HD (over-the-air), it will look better, because there is a lot on compression in OTA.
