Default Non BD topic - but home theater question on Sat vs. Cable...

What do you guys prefer in terms tv viewing? Comcast (cable with HD) or sat? Direct TV for example?

Cable's HD selection SUCKS! However the picture is great, the internet is super fast, and the phone service is cheap.

DTV hands down.

Had cable-- HD totally sucked and was way more expensive.

Our cable just added a bunch more HD channels.

I'm sure satellite is still better though, at least when it isn't raining.

If you have an ATSC tuner in your TV, try an antenna too. That way you can get some stations for free, and at best quality too (OTA broadcast is often less compressed than cable or satellite).

enjoy

If you want the best quality possible; you should use an UHF antenna and the best part is... it's free.

However, if you want a gazillion HD channels... better look up the reviews. I don't have the answer for you.
