I heard this one was a little better than the first one. I may check it out when the price lowers.

We should start a thread for worst cover art for 2013. This will easily be in the lead.

Critics prefer the first, audiences (the few that saw it ) preferred the second.

Anyway, I'll rent this.

The cover makes the movie look more like a parody.

That slipcover looks like someone spilled red kool-aid all over it.

That would be cool if that red kool-aid is embossed

Saw this in a double feature with Evil Dead at the drive-in. Didnt even know they made a sequel. I thought this one was better than the first, ill pick up a used copy for a few dollars someday. Not worth much more than that.

I think that the hate on this movie stems from two things, a) it's nothing like the first movie and b) it has a horrible title.

This could have worked on it's own as a new flick. I can't believe they didn't do it that way. It isn't even about the priest, it's practically a whole new character. Get rid of the voices of the priest from the first movie that play randomly, and don't call it "Part 2." A new name, and if you must, add "the events immediately following The Last Exorcism" to a poster or something.

New rule:
If your movie is called "The last" anything, sequels have to have a different title or the first film is a damn lie! Also applies to "Never-ending". Say what you will about the Saw series, but I give it huge props for ending on "the Final Chapter" where even my beloved Friday the 13th series failed with the same sub-title. Better yet, no sequels when these words are evoked!

Second:
What the **** is that line about "The Producer Eli Roth"? Methinks that is supposed to read differently, esp. cuz I think of Eli as director first, actor second, and producer now and then. If you can't even proof read your sales pitch on the front cover, that's a bad sign of what's inside. Library listing this one. I almost enjoyed the first one.

Sorry to burst you're bubble but Saw 8/a Saw Reboot has been in the works for years. As it stands now, the studios involved are just waiting for the paranormal activity franchise to officially run it's course before they decide on a sequel or a reboot and then ship out the next one.

This is possibly the worst and most inaccurate review I have read on here.

While the ending of the film is somewhat anticlimactic, I actually thought the rest of it was pretty good.

As the reviewer of the first film, I'd just like to ask, what is it about The Limbo that Satan finds so irresistible?
