We all have our favorite movies, favorite moments and all the varied experiences that go with it. But harken back to the days of "car mono" sound or was it "1.0", I'm not young enough to have been part of the Drive-In craze of it's day, but I do remember seeing two film as a kid with E.T. being the second next to the 1980 release of Smokey and the Bandit II. I know kind of an odd double-bill, but both are Universal Pictures. Any who imagine if the Drive-in was brought back with today's surround standards and would it be just as fun, but the main question is what was the BEST movie you ever watched at your local drive-in?
Remember mine where: Smokey and the Bandit II and E.T. ( great movie to watch on that pre-Imax screen ![]() |
