yeah pioneer makes one and it goes for about 999.99 i think they have it at JR.com

Cool stuff, but way too expensive right now.

I could build you a pretty respectable PC outright for that kind of money.

Yes but do you remember how expensive were CD RW at first , then DVD writers and now every one can buy CD/DVD RW for $50-60

Thi price currently should be not taken as disadvantage.

Also BD movies are cheaper than HD DVD. So you buy expensive drive but you save from media

I'm sure you can find the drives at more and more places on the web just do a google search for the model name and it'll come up.

Man it's crazy. A few years ago, i thought having a binder full of CD-Rs was a lot of stuff,
Today i got a binder filled with DVD - Rs. I shutter to think of how much crap i will have to fill a binder full of Blu-Ray - Rs a few years from now.
