Default FOX's "Sleepy Hollow" (Season 4)

Trailer for the new show coming this fall September 16:

This smells of similarity to "Once Upon a Time" with a pinch of GRIMM but it actually looks pretty good.

I'll give this a 30% chance of being a good show.

Looks good, but I don't see it making it past the first season. Almost certainly cancelled out the gate by Fox...

This is one of the shows that caught my attention. I hope it does well. I remember that everybody thought Once Upon a Time would flop. Maybe Fox will give it time to develop, but I doubt it.

Could be good... and I am a fan of the Sleepy Hollow story itself... but it is another concept that I wonder if it has more than 1-2 seasons worth of originality in it.

Well, "Once Upon A Time" and "GRIMM" are both heading into Season 3 so I would say yeah it is possible this could work. Of course that all depends on the originality of the writers to keep the show fresh.

Not gonna lie, this looks amazing. I can't wait to watch it. Hopefully it does good and can get at least one full season in.

I'm siding with you, HDMe. I like what i see, but I just can't see the show lasting longer than a few seasons, at best. Maybe I'm wrong though.

I took a pass on Grimm (too many shows to keep up with so I had to decide to ignore some stuff)... I like Once Upon a Time, though... but it is drawing from a bunch of stories to make it work.

I'm just afraid that as much as I like Sleepy Hollow... it will be hard to stretch it out beyond a season or two. I hope I can be proven wrong... so I'll go into it thinking good thoughts.

Yeah.. I'll definitely be going into this one wanting to like it... so it has that going for it, no need to hook me in... I want to like it. I just don't know what kind of story they can make work for more than a season or two. If I'm proven wrong, that will be a good thing!

I am on the fence with the mix of Old style Sleep Hollow revived in the 21st century ...
At first, I was pretty much on board, and then seeing the Headless Horseman using a machine gun ... I don't know.

Will probably give this a chance though.

I'm interested in seeing this. Not sure what everyone else is complaining about... they seem rather vague. "Looks horrible" "Looks terrible"? The SFX look bad to you? Cause I thought it was rather well done in the trailer I watched.

It doesn't look interesting at all. The acting seems pretty poor, and it doesn't seem exciting in the bit. I thought it was going to be a violent, dark, fast paced show like The Following. It looks like a horribly boring period piece.

Sleepy Hollow will fail. There is already similar and better shows on TV like Grimm, Hannibal, The Following, and the upcoming Dracula just to name a few.

Boring period piece? Did we watch the same trailer? Maybe I will need to go back and watch it again when I get off work cause that doesn't sound anything like what I remember seeing. As for the acting - can't really tell much by a 30 second clip.

Either way I will be tuning in for the pilot episode before I start judging how good or bad the entire show will be.

When I see a show titled, Sleepy Hollow, I expect a rendition of the original source material. (Which would make for a great TV show) Instead we are going to be given this drivel. Sleepy Hollow and present day do not mix in my eyes.

I watched the full trailer FOX uploaded. It's almost 4 minutes, not 30 seconds. I watch a ton of TV. Probably 40-50 series per year including reality shows, cable, etc. I normally can tell if something is good (aka will last for more than a season) with the trailer. If it doesn't draw you (me) in in the first minute, why bother? 30 seconds (but the trailer is much longer) is all you (me) need to decide
