HDscape sampler - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone recieved this yet? I know Amazon shows it as a pre-order, but Deepdiscount.com shows it in stock and has shipped mine (and billed me) and was wondering if anyone has got theirs. If not i'll wait a few days and see what they sent me. Just looking for a review. Thanks.

People were saying it was delayed, but that could have just been because Amazon said it mon't be available til...March or May I don't remember.

Yeah, had mine on pre-order from Amazon and it got delayed until December or next year I think. Can't fully remember but it was some ungodly time.

Does anybody have this title now? Are there any test pictures on the disc? I heard there would be a Video Essentials preview on it. And how is the PQ?

I have the sampler disc, the fireplace and saltwater aquarium. I ordered them right from hdscape.com! They had a turkey day special fireplace and aquarium for 9.99 and .99 shipping!

They look tremendous, a great way to show off the power of Blu!

The sampler was really cool! I loved the aquarium. I imagine that some folks from say the 60's would love to just sit in front of that screen for hours IYKWIM...

anyone know if this comes in a real case and not a cardboard pos. I'm gonna snag it, if it comes in a real case?

The HD DVD sampler came in a real disc... I'm assuming the Blu-ray does as well. Amazon has mine listed as shipping soon...

Just recieved mine a few minutes ago and watching it as we speak. Anyhow it does come in a real case.

hahaha but i find it funny that the insert in the case is for HD-DVD and not blu-ray.

Is it just me? It seems that the PQ on this is poor - noisy compression artifacts visible. I'd give PQ 5/10

Yeah I agree, still i don't regret buying it for 3 dollars.
