Default Amount of BD purchased (weekly) thread

Well everyone, I think I have done enough spending in one week alone, but it was for a good cause.

I purchased the Spider-Man BD Trilogy on Tuesday (I count it as 3 titles and not 1 title even though its packaged)
I also had purchased 16 BD movies the day after (primarily from Touchtone Entertainment, Miramax, and Walt Disney)
As of this posting, I just recently placed 3 more online orders on Amazon.com

Therefore, my total contribution to BD sales numbers this week is 22. Although much money spent, it was a good cause, plus I know for sure I will be picking up my copies of Ratatouille, Pixar Collection, and many others among the coming weeks.

What about you guys?

Did you get some on sale? I got a lot of movies on the BOGO week, but you got a lot of movies this week...good for you and for Blu. I only got the Spidey trilogy this week and I'll pick up Ratatouille next week. Oh yeah I did pick up Ratchet though...it's awesome!

I have a bunch of pre-orders. Shipped this week so far were The Spiderman Trilogy, Eyes Wide Shut, A Clockwork Orange, and The Polar Express. WB got some support there.

I am going tomorrow to Best Buy to get Spider-man Triology, and maybe a Kubrick film if they have them on the shelves yet.

Amazon dropped the prices on Fox movies to 23.95, so I went ahead and snapped up DAT and Edward Scissorhands. And of course, Spiderman 3.

I've also got Rat and Pixar Shorts on order...I'll probably add Cars, but I'm trying to...hold off...for a week. I mean, I'm barely able to watch what I have I've got so much.

I just bought Polar Express and pre-ordered Rat.

I've got a list a little over a half-mile long of what I'll be picking up between now and Christmas. There are several Warner titles I need to catch up on, also ID4, the Die Hard Set, Cars, Pixar Shorts, etc, etc.

It's going to be an expensive two months in my household. Good thing a couple of good side jobs just rolled in

I started purchasing Blu-ray movies in mid December 2006. I have not purchased any SD movie since then. I expect to own a total of 110 Blu-ray movies by mid December 2007 (counting 20 plus pre-orders).

So 110/52 = 2.12 movies each week (for this year anyway). It's tough getting that .12 movie to load. Hopefully there will be a firmware update soon.
