There's one visible new bit of CG, from "Unification". Looks pretty damned good.

surprised this is out already considering that they didn't release 4 yet in stores but looks good. Wonder if they aer going to do Reunification as a seperate release as well. doubt it since there is no mention of it but you would think that would be a good one to do too.

I'm not sure how I want to handle my season one set since I switched tracks and plan on buying the entire series together.

Anybody want to trade me four movies for it?

"Unification 1 & 2" as the single disc release is about as much a no-brainer as "All Good Things" will be in Season 7. "Time's Arrow" was an interesting episode, but I don't think it's eventful enough for a single release like "Best of Both Worlds" and "Redemption." If it does happen, I hope they get new interviews with Nimoy and Stewart for it.

I am not sure why you would want to release Redemption and Time's Arrow as a feature length episode though - they don't connect. With BOBW, Decent and even Unification, part 2 starts right at the end of part 1 so it flows as a complete episode when you join them. With Redemption and Time's Arrow, part 1 ends and part 2 picks up later on - time has passed. it doesn't have the same flow as those other episode. not saying they won't be good but I have no problem switching discs to see part 2 of those episodes since it doesn't really interrupt the flow of the episodes.

I would be surprised if they did release All Good Things as a separate release. I mean it makes sense and they did release it earlier than they were supposed to when they did the VHS releases but I can see them releasing it like they did the pilot as the full feature length episode but just in the season 7 set. hope they do keep doing the theatre releases though and release it - they seem to have stopped doing those as there is nothing for Redemption right now.

psyched for this of course, but I just hope quality is not being compromised in the rush to get these seasons out.

It should have been followed up by a clip of Q looking annoyed that he won't be back.

With the talk of the two part episodes, sure I'd like some of those but wha tI'd really like (and I know I'm in the minority here) is "Encounter at Farpoint" available both as a single episode and as two parts. It was originally aired of course as a single two hour episode, but it was also edited for reruns as two eps, and it would be nice to have that for completeness. Same thing goes for "All Good Things..."
