Australia Total Recall (2012) 4k Remaster

If you play Sony's 4k remaster of Total Recall (2012) on the Sony BDP-S790 Blu-ray player, the picture will break up. Other players play this movie ok. Be warned.

Does a 4k Master really look much different than a standard master?

10 year old thread , By now wish Sony would do a real 4K UHD of this remake .

Was this ever re-released with the higher bitrate and the so called remastered in 4K ? Having a hard time finding it at a decent price .

I would say that if you keep waiting you will miss it and then the second hand market for out of print UHDs is not cheap. At the moment JB has it at full price, I don't know Amazon. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/t...bjectID=490793
mmmmm... the post that you are replying to is about the COLIN FARRELL 'TOTAL RECALL' 2012 version.. and not the ARNIE one !

This was released in BD (with extras) and a '4K' BD sans extras

There was a BD (Arnie) issued in 2012 with poor quality and I thought he was talking about that

I am talking about the one with Kate Beckinsale , Is there only one 4K remaster blu-ray ? The extended version one is not the remaster correct ? They should have just done a UHD by now .

I’d drop $22.00 on a UHD…maybe $26 for a steel. Loved this version, although I’m exceedingly partial to the original and the creative decision to set it on mars, this is still a great watch.
