Default Question for HD DVD studios?

When are we going to see $9.99 prices on your HD-DVD releases to match the 98.99 price on HD-DVD players? I am not sure I see the benefit of buying $25 dollar new releases on HD-DVD when my player will only cost me $98. Will you be adjusting your prices accordingly in the near future? Thanks in advance. By the way I posted this on avsfourm also but figured if a couple of you paramount guys are still around you might be able to give us the low down over here.

They are not. Studios don't like that the price of dvd's have drop so much, even when the war is over, prices will stay in the low to mid 20's for a few years for new title & $18-$22 for 'old' catalog title. If we want titles on Blu Ray we are going to pay for them. Studios are there to make as much money as they can & Blu ray is a cash cow. For when hddvd dies studios will just trash all copies.

& you know when Star Wars comes out they are going to hold our hands over the fire but we are going to take because we want it so much.
