Default Good horror films on bluray

I've been on a big horror tip lately. I'm looking for good horror/thriller films on bluray from the last few years. I'm not really into gore that much but any recommendations would be awesome. If it's good it's good. I really enjoyed Mama and Sinister to give you an idea of my taste but again, any recommendations would be appreciated. I have trouble finding good horror films due to just getting into the genre. It also seems like there's not that many original horror movies nowadays. Help!

"The Descent" is probably the best horror film I've seen (or at least that has come out) in the last 10 years.

You'd probably enjoy Insidious. It's gore-free but is still one of the best modern scary movies that I've seen.

Cabin in the Woods
Eden Lake
Orphan
The Orphanage
[REC] and [REC2]
Thirst
Triangle

For a good laugh, I'd also recommend:
Chillerama
Stitches
Zombie Strippers

If you can handle some really hardcore material, these aren't too bad either:
Antichrist
I Spit on Your Grave 2010
Martyrs

Ya. Why don't we get more films like these?

Make sure you choose the 'unrated' version when you start the film as it is superior and the director's original intent.

I'd also recommend The Strangers.

Money well spent. Make sure you watch it late at night, lights off. A lot of the movie is dark (in a cave), so it's best to NOT have ambient light while watching.

I own the Strangers too, but on DVD. One of the creepiest to me because it could happen to anyone. I always watch my horror films in the dark late at night because I have to wait for my 18 month son to go to bed. It's the only way to watch horror films in my opinion!

Halloween
Scream
The Exorcist
The Amityville Horror (original)
A Nightmare on Elm Street (original)
Evil Dead
The Grudge (both the original and the remake are good)
The Ring (same ^)
Vacancy
Rosemary's Baby
The Shining
Dawn of the Dead (original and remake)
Red Eye (a good thriller directed by Wes Craven)
Shawn of the Dead
Tucker and Dale vs Evil

... slashers generally have more gore than movies involving ghosts etc, but there are some really good ones that don't have too much of it if its not your thing.

Similar in theme to Strangers is also a French horror film called Inside but that might be a bit heavy going

It's not that gore disgusts me or freaks me out, I really don't mind seeing it. It just seems with a lot of the gore movies that's what they're focused on and everything else is lacking attention. It isn't scary to me. If there's a gore movie but the story is awesome and what not, then I'm all about it.
