I remember watching the first one and it was really good, then II came along and it was mediocre at best then III was an abomination.

Might pick this up if it comes down to £10.00

Wow, you can get the US set for like £8 or £9 at least thats what I paid last year. I don't see why anyone wouldn't just get the US one since it's cheaper and region free. Comes with a nice little slip too.

Loved these as a kid, but you watch them now and they're pretty bad.

Hope they get a good transfer though, will give them a shot.

The first film was cut by nearly two minutes and Secret of the Ooze was cut by about thirty seconds. Both had their cuts waived when they arrived on DVD. I'd be very surprised if the Blu-rays were cut.

The third one definitely feels dated. The others do too, but to a lesser extent. They didn't age as well as other movies of the era in my opinion, and I'm a huge turtles fan.

The 3rd Film is the only one that I don't have any love for, however, I love the first 2, and TMNT.

Some people prefer not to order from the US, myself included.

I'm glad this is getting a UK release. It'll be a nice addition to the collection. I'm pretty sure I haven't seen 3, so all the lovely comments about it in this thread are making me look forward to it
