I didn't think this was the best but I will buy it to check it out again. There was a ton (great acting, directing, set pieces, etc) to like about it but I guess these modern "haunted house" films don't do much for me.

Not really surprising with this one. I'm sure they're taking advantage of the upcoming "holiday" that month. If this were any other type of movie it would probably be at least a November release.

Damn might as well not even see movies in the theater nowadays since they will come out on blu ray less than two months

But this movie demands a big scream...I mean screen, lol

Day one no question for me! This movie was awesome, and indeed, James Wan is one to watch. Saw, then Insidious and now this, each has gotten better!

I disliked the movie, but it was worth it for the audience involvement alone.

The Conjuring is one of the classiest and most well-made horror films I've seen since The Exorcist. I seriously cannot believe how good this movie is! And I really can't believe I'm saying this about a movie directed by the guy who did Saw.

Just got home from the theater! Thought it was great! Not sure I'll add it to my collection, but will definitely rent it for one more viewing.

I usually end up dismissing most of these horror flicks after viewing them but this one was great and can't wait to buy a copy. Very old-school and scary as hell.
