Suggestion: Notifications To Replies - Blu-ray Forum

It would be nice if they had a notification "tab" pop-up with replies to your posts and threads.

Like Slickdeals website - when you login a "pop-up" appears with all replies that have been made since you last logged out and also while you are logged in you will be notified of replies.

This is kinda frustrating. The only way to get notified of replies to your posts is to do a search on your own posts.

Another forum I use has this feature, and I dislike it. I think the way it is set up now is great.

It's a fantastic feature.
The forum I was referring to has an "Alert" button next to the private messages button.
Each time somebody quotes you or likes a post, you'll see a red number next to the "Alert" button. If you hover over the "Alert" button with your mouse cursor a window opens automatically and shows who liked or who quoted your post (with a link to the post).

Like this >>> "... liked your post in the thread..." or "...quoted your post in the thread..."

That doesn't frustrate me at all. I check the replies to my posts with that method. I like it just fine the way it is.

That method would still work. So you could just ignore this feature if it was implemented.

I don't mind how it works now but I do agree that if I could just drop straight onto a page and see all my replies and likes on a single screen, it would be welcome. This forum can move very fast and is populated mostly by posters who in their time zone posting time is in my timezone, bed time so replies specifically to me before I go to bed can get completely lost and it feels like work to find them again.
