so the movie hits theaters on August 16th and the Steelbook comes out a month later? that date can't be correct

the original release was in June they pushed it back to August 16th.. that's probably it's release date hasn't been updated yet

I wonder if this will get a "Reel Heroes" steelbook version, like the first film(from Germany I believe).
Either way, interested to see what this will look like.

I hope it looks vaguely similar to the original steelbook for the first film.

They're fast with announcing steelbooks these days...
The movie is not even in theaters. I hope they make it a nice one, Play's horizontal one was nice with the debossing, but I prefer a normal (vertical) one.

I don't think these ones (Kick Ass) ever sell out, so there is no hurry. Maybe wait a few months after release. Wait even longer if you can refrain yourself from watching a movie.

Will most likely be a day one for me, but I won't know for sure until I've seen the film in theatres in two weeks time.

Wait a few months and you may not get one look at the original release of Kick-Ass in steelbook format to prove this

I know the artwork is TBC, but I like the closeup. It would be great if they had several different covers(Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl, Stars & Stripes, The Motherf***er, Night B*tch)
