Normal version : listed JPY 4935
Deluxe version : listed JPY 8925

Interesting, I'll probably buy the box.

Does anyone know what is the difference between normal and deluxe version of the individual releases? Is the deluxe version something like the "Amazon exclusive" release of Tokyo Story (BD and book bundle)?

Looks like all deluxe versions including Tokyo Story come with the same book which was released on July 23, 2013 (Limited to 2500 copies).

Happy to see Ozu getting more love. Hopefully we see more in the US in 2014 too. My favorite of is is by far Floating Weeds. I really hope Criterion upgrades it one day.

Does this mean each of the 4 deluxe editions come with the exact same book? Or does each one come with a similar book unique to that film?

Comments on PQ will have to wait until I find time to view them, as of now the set it's still sealed. Also, I'm pretty easy to please re: PQ so temper any eventual comments with that understanding.

Lastly, I've no idea the process for posting pics on the forum so if someone wants to PM me a short how to, that would be appreciated.

I have all four, bought separately as they were released. The Autumn Afternoon looks great to my eyes, and Equinox Flower is gorgeous. I saw the new restoration print of Late Autumn earlier this year in cinema and it looked perfect - so I have little doubt that the blu-ray wouldn't look great. I only watched the first half of Good Morning but it looked great as well.

I also have BFI's but didn't compare. And please beware that my TV is only 42'.
