Default BD Players with CC Decoders?

Mainly for my collection of DVDs.

Sadly, a lot of my older DVDs (TV series, being a big culprit) don't have "DVD subtitles"... just closed captions. This was never a problem when I used a standard DVD player, since I'd just enable the closed captions on my TV.

However, as you guys are probably aware, CCs no longer exist as far as HDMI is concerned. I've never tried hooking up a Blu-Ray player up with standard-definition, but using component or HDMI automatically disables the CC decoder built into my TV.

Are there any Blu-Ray players on the market that can decode the CC data from DVDs and display them on-screen like the regular subtitles? I'm not aware of any but I thought I'd ask as it would be really useful. As it is I have to play those old DVDs on my computer and use software like Media Player Classic which has a decoder.
