Maybe that the text is on a j-card so the image is clean? Could also be a see-through slip with text so we can see the art underneath?

Tis a nice surprise to see ES do a classic, well made too I must admit. I thought I'd never want a ES exclusive because I assumed they were going to stick to 'big blockbusters' exclusively, maybe they've made enough profits to start releasing some more shall we say risky titles.
Looking forward to their next release now.

I still haven't seen this movie and I love space operas. I think I may have to get this. I know absolute zero about it, except that Leslie Nielsen is in it. How has the movie held up?

It's product of it's time, meaning it can't hold a candle to today's special effects of course. It has some cool matte paintings and I like the wide screen visuals and Anne Francis looks great in it. Great electronic music score as well. I consider it a classic.

That is a seriously beautiful steelbook. A film I've always wanted to watch (I know it's exactly my cup of tea) but never gotten around to it, this is the perfect time to fix that.

Just watched the trailer, the special effects are impressive for the time it was made. Considering it's before Star Wars or even the Star Trek TV show. Leslie looks so young! Looks like a really well made sci-fi flick. Plus it's in COLOUR!
