Devil In A Blue Dress (1995)

It may lack the anger of Walter Mosley's book but Carl Franklin's film is very good thanks to fine performances from the entire cast especially Denzel Washington, but Don Cheadle is the standout and I expected great things from him (until Ocean's Eleven and the worst mockney this side of Dick Van Dyke). A good looking film with an evocative soundtrack. Pity they didn't film the other novels with Washington.
