Holy crap my wish came true!

Even though I would have wanted the art from the regular 3D version, THIS was the image I thought all the steelbooks were getting. I was disappointed to see the ones from Europe, but finally, a Pacific Rim steelbook with Gypsy Danger on it!

Man do I hope Best Buy gets to release this here in the US. If not, hopefully a group buy will pop up for this and I can cancel the UK one because even though it has the 3D BD, I much prefer this artwork.

Well, I work at Best Buy and we have a listing of a "Pacific Rim" Best Buy Exclusive Edition. No confirmation on what the exclusive is yet, but it's a possiblity. If Futureshop is getting one, Best buy or Walmart may get a Steelbook. It currently only shows as BD+DVD+UV for the product specs in our system, though... sadly. I'd imagine that Walmart would have listed an exclusive as a steelbook on the little Preorder cards that popped up in stores this week. Since they haven't, I wouldn't bet on them to have one. So, fingers crossed on Best Buy getting a Steel.

Agreed. Since the general release everywhere comes with an entire Bonus Disc of Special Features, I'd hope they don't go with something crappy like that.

Really prefer when a steelbook includes the 3D so I don't have to double dip

That is why i already PO'd the UK steelbook...dont think i can use the UV code state side,,or am i wrong in thinking that?

While I like to have the 3D included, since I can't actually watch it, I have no problem if it isn't included. As long as we get a steel, I'm happy.
