I got the first movie on blu for 99 cents when my Blockbuster was closing. Will get the sequel when it drops to $10 at Best Buy six months after its release

Does anyone else wish they combine the two films into one? That sounds amazing to me, one big epic horror film.

Hopefully the double feature release will have new extras for Insidious 1.

Or maybe a bonus disc or something. That'll get me to double dip on the first film.

Was it really that bad? I haven't seen it yet, but I loved the first one. From the previews of the second, it looked a bit repetitive and maybe even confusing at times.

Corner Camping Noob, I didn't think the second was nearly as scary as the first, but it was very entertaining and picked up perfectly from the first film, with no awkward lapses in continuity. The actors they hired to play the younger versions of characters actually resembled the original actors. Not something you see very often! This film felt like a seamless continuation of the first part.

Chaotic, Chapter 2 will be released on its own as well.

Thanks for that. Glad to hear it made sense and had continuity with the first. My expectations are that it will not be as scary as the first, since I assume they will go for the same type of jump scares. However if the atmosphere is similar to the first one, then that's a plus

Will be picking up Pt. 2.
