Australia Anchorman - The Legend of Ron Burgundy

Finally getting a local bluray release, after being available overseas for a while. Has anyone managed to pick up a copy as yet, and if so, did paramount once again shaft us for extras and release the "Vanilla" version(no extras, film only)?
I tried a JB in the city today, didn't seem to have it in stock as yet.

I've got this and several other Paramount titles on pre-order with JB, however the stock still haven't arrived yet, hopefully when I check this afternoon they will have. I'm expecting this to be identical to the standard UK release not the 'Rich Mahogany edition'.

Info seems to indicate that it will just be the single disc like Cevolution was saying. Nothing on Paramount's B2B site indicates it'll be the 2 disc set. If you're after the Rich Mahogany version WOW HD seems to be the best price at the moment at AUD$14 delivered: http://www.wowhd.co.nz/blu-ray/ancho...465315#bc=a957

It's been a bit cheaper before (I got it through Zavvi for under $8 about 18 months back) but $14 delivered for the 2-disc set still beats $15 @ JB in the 2 for $30 for what looks like a single disc release.

Something to consider if special features etc are your thing.

Love this film, one of Wills best imo. I was totally gutted when I went to play my DVD version of it a while ago, and it didn't play anymore.. not sure why.. disc rot probably.

Was that with the 20% off, or the normal sticker price?

I'm still waiting on my pre-ordered copy through my local. JB use 2 different courier companies, I've been told it's another one of those situations where their stores that are still awaiting stock used one courier company and those that have received the stock had gone through another. I have seen it at 2 others stores, however I didn't grab it because they didn't seem to have other Paramount titles that were supposed to be released on the same day i.e. Tomb Raider the Cradle of Life. Because of the delay the DVD manager at my local has agreed to honor 20% off on all my pending orders even though the sale finishes today, though I could use the 25% off JB voucher I have but I'd prefer to use that for Wolverine and a few others new releases.
