I got problems joining a game too, I always get in after midnight, and even than I have to try all different modes until 1 of them works. I m in Chicago.

I know of 3 people getting the same error. They must be doing maintenance right now.

mine is doing same thing - plus my game freezes when trying to load map for split screen multiplayer

Hey Everyone --

I just wanted to let you know that we are fully aware of the issues with the PSN COD4 Matchmaking servers. We've been on the phone working with the server team from the moment they went down and will keep you updated as soon as they are back up.

Thanks for all the feedback on this issue, and I'll keep you guys updated.

Wow, didn't know we had an infinity Ward community relations person on our forum, so welcome & i hope you will be actively be involved in our COD4 thread which will be booming with activity from the online excitement & innovation this game has brought to the online arena with it
