oka so the commerial shows thing the car serires can do ect. such as stop on a 70 degree slope and the door hinges can hold a 200 lb man ect. and then shows a scientice saying most people will never need all those fetures of a quality care ect. then the person says but the fact of matter is that even those most will never need it some will need it.

reminded me about the whole 1080p lpcm 7.1 sound thign and oo most poeple have 720p tvs ect. lol

It's been this way for many years, just think about DVD. Most people I know doesn't know what thye difference between Dolby Digital and DTS is, actually they don't even know how surround works, they think that the rear speakers has to play voices too, and not just the center channel.

That doesn't change, that some people want top quality discs and the best quality can offered with Blu-ray.
