Great looking cover, but alas, I'm waiting on the possible Target exclusive Digibook coverart. That's the one I'm aiming for since I have to continue the trend from the first film.

It was a Digipak

But I agree, I really want Target doing another Digipak exclusive. The first one was beautifully done.

Yes it was. Thanks for that correction.

It's funny though, where does Target go once they already place a mockingjay on the cover of the original blu-ray, and we haven't even reached the actual Mockingjay film yet?!

That was part of the promo posters from the first film and also the book uses the same thing, its not Target

Also the final film/final book Mockingjay is different. It's free, see:

I guess I'm trying to say in the sense that are we going to get a mockingjay in some way, shape, or form on EVERY blu-ray cover? I mean, I guess that's okay, but they should've waited until Mockingjay Part I to start displaying that.

The mockingjay is part of all three books, and will be for all four films.

The first is the pendant, the second is the target/'clock' with the bird inside, the third is the bird by itself. To go with the trend of the book covers.

Progressively showing the mockingjay breaking free, which is what Katniss does as she is the metaphorical "mockingjay".

this is the actual log used at the end of Catching Fire that will no doubt be used for Mockingjay 1's poster and eventual cover:
[Show spoiler]

Hopefully we get the IMAX arena scenes in 1.78:1. Lionsgate better not pull a Ghost Protocol/ST: Into Darkness.
If Target does another exclusive to match the first film's, that would be great as well.

Hopefully we DON'T. 1 aspect ratio please.

Looks like amazon has an exclusive in the UK so I would assume we'd get it here as well.

+1

I want the multiple aspect version too. Even if Lionsgate don't roll it out as the standard sku, then do it as a damned retailer exclusive. Don't just ignore it!

I don't want the IMAX scenes in 1.78:1. They should stick with the 2.35:1 ratio imo. Nice artwork btw. Hopefully we'll get a teaser for Mockingjay Part 1 as a special feature.

I doubt this will be out before July but that's because I expect it to have great legs through June and finish with an absolutely obscene box office total. Already well on the way with its current domestic and international numbers.

The cover of the Target digipak is almost the same as the cover of the original book, right? I just bought it the other day and love the artwork, and really hope Target makes another one. I could see them just making it quite similar to the Catching Fire book cover.

Please let it be a actual bonus disc instead of that target ticket crap!
