TONNES of different exclusives, if it's anything like the last one. Very annoying, especially when you consider that they'll still release an OMFG-ULTIMATE set when all the films are eventually released.

Deluxe Edition Amazon Exclusive

WTF is that?! And why is it £75?!

Anyone else find it ironic that these kind of products are based on a story that critiques exploitation and excess? Just sayin'.

According to the box art, Double Play editions of Hunger Games and Catching Fire, Catching Fire soundtrack, artcards and 45 minutes exclusive bonus content (so maybe an extra disc)? Not really worth it.

I'm surprised the standard releases are a Triple Play, I thought the UK was long done with that.

Looking at the pictures it appears to include a fancy display box, which is probably what's pushed the price that high...

I've pre-ordered the steelbook. Like Lew Zealand said, glad to see them keeping with them theme of the first steel, they should look great once they are all together.

Not been able to catch this is the cinema, so will be looking forward to watching this - I loved the first film.

Just pre-ordered the standard blu ray edition.

For the first one Sainsburys got an exclusive disc, I wonder if they will this time (and how will we find out as they won't be selling online by then).

I've got the 3-disc Sainsbury's set too. Haven't watched it yet. I wasn't sure whether to read the books or watch the movie first.

Very interesting and exciting to see that Lionsgate are bringing Ultraviolet to their UK/Eire releases!

I enjoyed the first film but this second one, really loved it. It's definitely not a kid's franchise anymore. The IMAX footage was stunning of course. Wonder if those scenes will be full screen? I hope so.

Will hopefully get the steel to match my first one.

Definitely worth reading the books. They are fairly fast paced especially to begin with, so great Christmas break reads.

The exclusive bonus disc is in the Amazon deluxe edition this time around. It's a shame that if we want to see that 45 mins of extra stuff we've got to buy all that needless tat along with it. Still, a cheeky cash grab was to be expected given how popular this franchise is.

I think the standard BD edition looks very tasty, and it'll look lovely alongside my Sainsburys version. REALLY hope they keep the IMAX scenes in 1.78 though! Be nice if they kept the trailers too, which were missing from the UK version of THG.

That's a shame, I'm not going to spend all that extra money just for a 45 minute bonus disk. If it had been a film I'm really in to then I probably would've but I thought it was too similar to the first one.

First post updated. I probably won't be following the release of this film too much, so when the exclusives do rear their head, post in this thread and I'll add them to the OP.

Remember Sainsbury online is closing in March 2014 and they are no longer listing titles with a release date after 15th March or when the date is not yet fixed (think that applies here).

We debated in the relevant thread whether this means an end to their exclusive versions as they will only have their stores to sell them in.

Anyway as said above the bonus disk is in the Amazon exclusive this time, but they have massively inflated the price, including all the other tat to try and justify it.

I have always been surprised that Amazon UK have not gone for many more exclusive bonus disk or steelbook versions, as they feature prominently on their French and German sites. Here they have let Zavvi take the biggest share of the steelbook market.

Pre-ordered the Steelbook also, however its a shame that Lionsgate are not copying the exact artwork from the book covers. They did so for the Steelbook for the first film, why not for the second? It would have been nice to have three steelbooks with book cover design on them.
