Not sure if it's possible with Blufans. I know that on HDN, there is a reserved amount for group buys. Not sure about other forums. (like this one).

10-4. I only have 1 post on HDN so I wouldn't even be eligible for a GB. I've never bought anything from Blufans. Can you buy direct from them and do they ship to the US?

No, you can not buy direct from them and they do not ship to the US.
The best thing to do is join HDN which is basically the better site for SB (sorry it's the truth) get 30 post and join the GB. That is how I got my WiR blu fans SB and it was worth it. Don't get me wrong I'm a member of this site and HDN. This site is great for movies and other things but as far as SB info they are pretty keyed into it. Plus their GB section is a good way to get SB's that otherwise you wouldn't be able to.

You don't need to be so abrasive. You may have told people 1000 times, or maybe not, but what's your point?

What I did above to create this thread is mirror (precisely) the same thread on HDN so that this steelbook release can be discussed and visible here. There is no purchase link in the HDN thread so I fail to see the issue.

This release is not listed on their site for ordering. When they do list it, http://www.blufans.com/shop/ will be where you can purchase the item.

By the way, I googled Blufans, found http://www.blufans.com, clicked on the link, and then chose Brooklyn Mall to get to this page. It's not something that's difficult to do

Folks for those that have any interest in this release... consider the opportunity of voting on HDN to voice your opinion on the artwork. It is an EXTREMELY close race between A and B. They will be combining the votes between HDN and Blufans website in China, and even just a couple votes could help one or the other win.

Everyone already knows my stance: VOTE Option B !!

Option A is too crunched and poorly cropped.
Also, it is not as "epic" as pic B.
Also, pic B is the main protagonist of the movie, Gypsy Danger.
Also, pic B represents the true look of Pacific Rim much more.
Also, when you look at Choice A, it is difficult to tell what you are even looking at for a moment.

So c'mon everybody... go vote! This could be THE most awesome Pacific Rim steelbook ever printed.

I think I would go with artwork A, but to be honest I don't think any of them are that great. I would go with A because all the other steels are of Gypsy and I'd like to see another. I think the G1 Russian Jaeger would have been coolest, or since this is from China they could have done the 3 armed Jaeger from China

That link won't do us any good because Blufans does not ship internationally.

There is talk of them setting up an international site, perhaps in May, but that will be too late to order Pacific Rim.

Only chance will be if the steelbook is delayed until May OR Blufans holds back some stock to offer on the international site later.

Anybody with different information is welcome to show I am wrong about this. I hope I'm wrong about this because I want this steelbook so bad.

I agree. Its a conspiracy. I have a strict spending policy on steelbooks where I spend $15 and below on 90% of my steels and absolutely no more than $30 on the remaining 10%. Blufans has me planning to join probably 5 group buys if I can scrape up the cash and those things break all of my steelbook spending rules.
