Don't think there is an extended cut.

Describing it as an offbeat romantic comedy is a joke in itself. This is more like a black comedy drama. It's definitely dramatic and creepy at times.

Day One purchase for me. A favorite film. I even own the poster. Haven't seen it in years because I've been waiting for Blu-ray

Almost bought this on DVD recently, looking forward to the BD. Interesting, quirky film with one of the great scores of the decade by Carter Burwell.

Wow, man, I stated I was kidding, but if you are going to take that route, then You need to look at what movie thread you are posting, this movie does NOT have an extended cut.

Day one for me. I always love this film -- never understood why it seemed to fade and get overlooked. It's a great premise, a very enjoyable film to watch, and really left me with a memorable feeling from the ending.

Definitely, weird description.

Very "creepy at times" and occasionally tragic as well.

Yeah that is pretty odd actually. I just copied the synopsis directly from Warner, but I certainly wouldn't classify this as an off-beat rom-com.
