French releases worth grabbing? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm going to order Heaven's Gate from France but would lie to ark advantage of the high shipping costs and get a few other titles. What're some great releases from France that haven't been reviewed but are really worth getting and are English friendly.

For the record, my favourite types of films are typically horror, film-noir (and any edgy earlier cinema), and I'm very open to films that feature beautiful cinematography and a great soundtrack. I'm open to any suggestions though.

Violent saturday
Curse/Night of the demon
Gun Crazy

You may enjoy Les Risques du metier (1967) directed by Andre Cayatte and starring Jacques Brel & Emmanuelle Riva.

The blu ray is region free. Amazon does state B but on the back of the blu ray it states ABC.

It covers some similar ground to the recent Danish film The Hunt and the transfer of this is gorgeous.

French release has more special features than Criterion and the UK release is cut.

- The Triplets of Belleville
- Bound
- Michael Clayton
- Agora
- Kelin
- Tell No One
- Brotherhood of the Wolf
- A Very Long Engagement
- A Bout Portant
