Seinfeld - I don't even classify the finale as an actual episode.

Gilmore Girls.

While it's still my favorite show of all time, after Amy Sherman Palladino left, the shows final 3 seasons were so lackluster and with the introduction of April Nardini, I almost gave up on the show. That final episode was such a "well let's try to solve this shows problem and give the fans a happy ending".

Whatever. ASP said she had the final scene for the show written during Season 2 and I am still dying to know what it was.

What was wrong with the Scrubs finale? Or are you counting that season with the interns as the ending?

Chuck had one of the worst endings ever. The last season and finale of Dexter were pretty bad as well. I initially didn't like Seinfeld's finale, but it's grown on me.

I thought it was a fitting end. The years of being awful human beings finally caught up to them.

Isn't there some kind of statute of limitations? Those are some old ass shows.

Better to be an old ass than a young one.

Me, I kept wondering why Trek fans kept picking on Jonathan Fraker's guest shot at the end of Star Trek: Enterprise, and the entire TV franchise at that--What, it's a shout back to TNG, and the story canon is brought full-circle, what could be so bad about that?
And then I watched it....Oooo-kay, fans, I'll give you that one.
(I wonder if they were deliberately trying to parody bad Trek fanboy-fiction, as Riker proves that even Trek characters can Mary-Sue themselves into bad holodeck stories as The Guy Who Solved Everything For Everybody.)

Hey, we're talking about people who probably haven't SEEN Brady Bunch in fifteen years, or most of their conscious life. Even a bad ending is better experienced first.

I thought the SNG finale was one of the best episodes in the entire series.

JAG.

[Show spoiler]The show waits until the final ten minutes of the series that lasted 10 seasons for the two lead characters to finally resolve their feelings for each other and get married. It's an absurd ending although I suppose they can be forgiven somewhat since that ending had to be quickly thrown together when the show was not renewed.

I think of The Betrayal as the real final episode as it goes right back to the beginning. As for The Finale, I suppose it was an excuse to have an audience-pleasing series of guests but it would have been far better if they'd been found not guilty by reason of being from New York
