Can someone please explain to me why I redeem a UV code, through Flixster of Game of Thrones Season 1 and 2 and I can only seem to see the episodes on Flixster on my PC, Flixster doesn't seem to have a TV app anywhere like PS3 or Roku. Vudu Nook MGo (are there others), I can't play my episodes on. Maybe CinemaNow in Canada but I can't check that until tonight, and I have no device that plays CinemaNow USA, so I can't check there.
Does anyone have suggestion as to where I can watch it so I can see it on my TV screen... |

Yeah, I used Flixster , guy was selling All codes separately. What is the point of Flixster if it has no full version on devices not just that crappy trailers only version on Roku I have seen.
It said UV so I figured WITHOUT HESITATION, that it would be visible anywhere my UV collection is, except for maybe special features that were exclusive |

Yeah, sorry to welcome you to the immature world of digital media and competing products / providers. When I look on Amazon, the Game of Thrones advertises "digital copy" and doesn't mention UV. They are actually generous in that regard and provide up to 3 "digital copy" versions. None of them are UV and go into your locker there. Sounds like your seller wasn't completely accurate in the description.
Even if you have UV, it still doesn't always transfer correctly, particularly if you have a code from another country. I probably exchanged 50 messages with Flixster, Ultraviolet, Warner Bros, and Vudu trying to get my UK code of This is The End available in VUDU, to no avail. You are right, if you want to watch in the best quality on TV, it is pretty difficult without VUDU. |

I spoke to that poster, he said he made a mistake, that the PS4 has Flixster.
Anyone else confirm this? I would literally buy a PS4 if both VUDU and Flixster were on it. It would push me even further if CinemaNow was available too. He also said using the browser flixster.com works. Well it does until you want to "Watch Now" because it requires a newer version of Adobe Flash, and upon trying to upgrade that, it said the latest version was already installed. So ultimately it didn't work. Didn't hurt to try though, I never thought of trying the browser, WORST BROWSER EVER ![]() Last edited by pmac; 01-15-2014 at 12:30 AM. |
