They show up as DVD releases when you enter the UPC's on Amazon

I bet they are probably a repackage of the 90's Gamera Trilogy with a few of the old 60's Gamera films that appear on Mill Creek's SciFi DVD movie bundles.

Amazon has been wrong about the format before, so there's still a chance it could be a BD

I literally just bought the Gamera Trilogy!
I'll wait before I open it seeing as there is now a new listing for Gamera...

Amazon has a third Mill Creek listing up too, just to further muddy the waters.

Gamera Legacy Collection: http://www.amazon.com/Gamera-Legacy-...eywords=gamera

I'm guessing this is a watered down version of the two Ultimate Collection sets.

I'd love the original Gamera films on Blu-ray, but those are still licensed to Shout! Factory, unless they lost the rights or gave them to Mill Creek. Interesting, will have to keep an eye on this.

Hmmm. Maybe the AIP dubbed versions are involved? They've gotten plenty of budget releases. Definitely have to keep an eye on these. I just shot Mill Creek an email and they got back immediately with "Announcements regarding the product details for these titles will be made on our website at the appropriate time prior to their release. We encourage you to visit our website to view these announcements."

Personally speaking, I wouldn't wait; those 90's Gamera reboots are a lot of fun.

Here's hoping that Mill Creek does something with Gamera like they did with the Daimajin triple feature set. Not sure they have the rights, but it would be nice to see another decent set from MC.

Interesting. Hopefully if it includes the Shusuke Kaneko trilogy again, the subtitles will finally be corrected for Gamera 3. The redone subs after the huge cluster**** that was the first release STILL have some issues.

I wasn't aware there was a subtitle issue with Gamera 3 in the trilogy box set. Can you tell me what's wrong? I haven't watched Gamera 3 yet in this set so I'm curious what to watch out for now. I have the latest box set with all 3 films and the new extras for Gamera 1.

Massive timing issues throughout the film, including partial or whole exchanges of dialog dropped without any translation.

I bought Trilogy without being aware of the problems but luckily enough somehow ended up with a fixed versions of discs. Ordered it from Amazon half a year ago. The first movie (maybe the second too) is missing all the sign/newspaper headline/locale translations though.

How can we tell what versions of the trilogy are the fixed ones?

Hopefully this actually is a bluray and not just another Mill Creek mega-box.

If it's both discs in one case, it's the fixed one. If it's two cases, there's should be a number either on the spine or near the UPC of Gamera 3 that ends in 12-A.
