Default Doom 4

I’ve just pre-ordered Wolfenstein, where’s my DOOM beta key?

An insert will be included inside your boxed copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order. This insert will include a key code along with code redemption instructions. Once the key code is redeemed, you’ll be registered to participate in the DOOM beta once it begins. Check back at wolfenstein.com/doom for updated information.

What is the release date of Wolfenstein: The New Order?

Wolfenstein: The New Order will be available on May 20, 2014 in North America and May 23, 2014 in Europe for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

How do I redeem my code?

Once you’ve received your boxed copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order, simply return to wolfenstein.com/doom and follow the code redemption instructions located on the enclosed DOOM beta insert. Once you enter your code you will be asked to provide a valid email address. We'll contact you at a later date through the email address provided with further instructions on the DOOM beta

Do I need to specify what platform I want to play the DOOM beta?

Prior to the start of the DOOM beta, you will be contacted at the email address provided during the code redemption process. At that time, we will provide additional information on timing, available options, and other important news and information. Beta timing and platform options are subject to Bethesda Softworks’ discretion.

What is the DOOM beta? How long will it last?

We will be providing more information on the specific content and duration of the beta test at a later time.

When does the DOOM beta start?

Although you’ll receive the DOOM beta key code with your copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order, the DOOM beta won’t begin until a later, yet-to-be announced date. We will contact you with news and updates surrounding the start of the DOOM beta via the email address provided during the key code redemption process.

Will there be an Open Beta for DOOM?

Timing and availability of future beta programs for DOOM is to be determined. The only current way to ensure access is through pre-ordering Wolfenstein: The New Order. We will be providing more information on additional beta tests, if any, at a later time.
Machinegames' take on the Wolfenstein franchise is coming to consoles and PC on May 20, Bethesda Softworks announced today, and beta access to the long-in-development new Doom from id Software is being offered as incentive for pre-ordering the game.

According to a release from Bethesda, everyone who pre-orders the game will be invited to access the Doom beta with their copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order. More details on the Doom beta pre-order incentive are promised at the official Wolfenstein website.

When contacted for information about the new Doom, Bethesda declined to provide additional comment or platform details, but confirmed that it's the next Doom title currently being worked on by id Software. A release date for Doom and its beta was not provided.

Doom was my absolute favorite game once I had a computer that could play it. Doom 3 wasn't to my tastes, but I thought Rage was underrated. Have my fingers crossed for this one...

Hell, most of the time I spend on 360 goes to Doom 1 + 2 and Quake 3 Arena.

Me too, played the originals and Doom 3 to death back in the day. Terribly disappointed that Doom 3 wouldn't play on Windows 7, so extremely happy to have gotten the BFG Edition for the PS3. I seriously hope that Doom 4 knocks it out the ballpark, as it has been a long time in development, including the ID Software guys starting over with it. There hasnt been an ID game that i haven't enjoyed, and RageTM was my favourite FPS of the last gen. Bring it on!

This would be a good title to include a 3D option.

Very happy that Doom 4 is coming again.

From what I gather is that Kevin Cloud wanted to make Doom 4 more Rage like, while Carmack wanted Doom 4 to be a simple old school shooter game.

I'm interested because it's Doom but I'm still cautious. Doom 3 was good but not great.

Doom 3 was one of of my favorite games when it came out, but playing the BFG Edition showed me how poorly it had aged.

My first FPS! I think I had it for the Sega 32X. I'm going to keep an eye on this one.

Is no one else getting Wolfenstein? I have to admit, I'm more excite for this than Watch Dogs. The Doom beta, as well, has me interested, though I wish ID would make a new Quake. Arena is still my favorite deathmatch game some 15 years after its release. (Quake 4, however, was just ok).

I'm getting it. I preordered it so I could get access to the Doom beta but would have bought it regardless.

I'm getting it. The $20 in reward certificates for preordering at Best Buy pushed me over the edge. And I've never been part of a beta before, so that's another plus.

I'm very excited about the new wolfenstein!! Sure hope they didn't blow it and make it like all the CoD's lately.
However, I still need to get me a PS4!!!!

It's for PS3 as well. It'll be uglier than the PS4 version, and run with a choppier framerate, but I'm sure the gameplay will be fine.

Really hoping we get something about Doom 4 at E3. A trailer would be nice so we can see what direction this game is taking.

Same, plus I have the GCU so its like $48 and the $20 certificate. I can probably beat it pretty quick and trade it in
