![]() ![]() Hi all, I'm passing this petition on with hopes that members here will be willing to help. This petition posted at Diabolique magazine is to show Warner Brothers that there is an audience for blu-ray releases of the Hammer Films titles they own (only these seven specific titles are with WB): CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN HORROR OF DRACULA THE MUMMY TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA DRACULA RISES FROM THE GRAVE FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED DRACULA AD 1972 http://diaboliquemagazine.com/sign-p...itles-blu-ray/ Please click on the link and help get some more classic titles released on blu-ray. Even if you're not a Hammer fan, I think that the petition is also representative of the need to get catalog titles of any genre out in a HD format and to show big companies like WB that there is still a market for catalog titles. This could mean releases by WB, Warner Archive, or even licensing them out should they decided it was finally time to do so like some of the other major studios. It's been available for two days and it's already nearing seven hudred signatures. Thanks for reading. If Bob Burns can do it, so can you! Last edited by bgart13; 03-04-2014 at 10:04 PM. |

Well, as I wrote, petitions like these help show the big studios that catalog titles are still valued.
That being said... Hammer Films' movies what's being aimed for. I can only encourage you to sign this to as representing catalog titles in general. And, start your own petition for TRUE LIES. Isn't that a Fox title, anyhow? |

Some hope with the s-l-o-w rate that Warner are releasing their catalogue movies. I'd rather have the Hammer stash that Universal & Sony own.
