Is brave and bold any good?

I was searching around Amazon for Batman titles on Blu-ray and found this: http://www.amazon.com/Batman-Brave-T...dp/B00FFFUZ46/

I never seen "The Brave and The Bold" and was wondering if it was a good series and how does it compare to "The Animated Series"

The actual style of Batman looks a little off-putting (like how the new Voltron looks way too different from the old Voltron). Though if it has a good story, that can make up for the characters look.

Is this series worth buying, or should I pass? Taking into account that I'm a fan of TAS.
