This should be straight-forward, but it still confuses me, and I haven't found an answer in the forum (where is the users guide, anyway?).
Scenario: Movie 'ABC' is in the database There exists a BD version and a DVD version in the database of movie 'ABC'. I want to add another edition of one of the above discs. How do I open a 'clone' page, change the UPC code, etc., and save it? It seems no matter how I do it, I get some kind of error message, or, the page that opens contains only an abbreviated short list of the disc title. Ideas? |

That is what I did when I submitted the new single-disc James Bond DVDs and the re-issues Ultimate Editions. I don't think you need to Clone a theatrical movie. Just the DVD or BD. |

I tried that, and I guess the only way to make it happen is to change the Title ever so slightly, for example, adding 're-issue' or whatever to change it, otherwise the system won't accept it.
In this case the movie is Chevy Chase "Modern Problems" DVD with new UPC & ASIN, etc. so I added 'Re-release' to the Title.... I hope that's the right way to do it. |
