FB Announcement:
Castle of Cagliostro. DVD and Blu Ray. The DVD will come out first, probably in August. Blu ray will be end of year or early 2015. Both English dubs will be included, it will have the original intro along with the Japanese language and English subs. |

Personally, I'd rather have it on Discotek. ![]() |

(Without cropping/overlaying for English credits, as the later Manga DVD had?) |

Go to 2:22 - while there are imposed spanish subtitles, these are the original (moving) credits. Last edited by Monroville; 03-27-2014 at 06:09 AM. |

Also, since Manga owns their own dub, Discotek will reportedly be using the "classic" theatrical Streamline dub from the 80's, which had fallen into public domain:
(Yes, the one where they call him "Wolf" for author-copyright issues, but otherwise, the voices are better.) |

Discotek is great. They always release the definitive editions of many forgotten anime, in my opinion. Even when they are doing DVD only, they find some way of making them the ultimate releases of the films.
Can't wait to finally get a good version of this with the original credits. |
