Italy Cat's Eye May 6th...

Coming May 6th from Pulp Video. It's up for pre-order on Amazon, hopefully it's improved and comes out as well as Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid and possibly Maximum Overdrive.

Love this one, the opening montage featuring Christine & Cujo etc..

Hopefully Silver Bullet will be on it's way too as part of Pulp's Studio Canal distribution.

Already discussing their Maximum overdrive release here:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=238511

I hope these transfers will be decent, I'm not expecting any cleanup but I hope something that will reflect 1080p!

One of my favorites, but I don't trust Pulp Video! Waiting for a US or UK release. I think!

You have it?

Hope it's better than the Maximum Overdrive disc

Would add this to my collection in an instant if it's a decent release.

But is it in HD (as opposed to an upconvert)? I'm much the same way... I can handle a little bit of DNR, or the opposite regarding film spots. I just don't like it when some of these companies dump a film onto blu either without any sort of color timing correction or image stabilization, or they try to hide an upconvert by slathering it with DNR.

Hope this gets released in the states! I spoke with Lewis Teague in March about the possibility of a Blu-ray release and he wasn't sure whom had the rights. I'm assuming still Warner Bros?

Sucks, but so true. They have the rights to so many great films but continue to release the same movies over and over again in different editions. It's ashame Scream Factory cant get the rights to their library of 80's horror.

Yeah, and they won't even discuss their movies with other companies. They're not going to release them anyway. Just sitting on them.

Would like to know that myself, can't find any reviews or caps anywhere!

Pulp really are hit & miss with their releases.

Well in the absence of any views I've taken a punt and put an order in. I'll post my thoughts when it arrives unless someone comes back with theirs in the meantime

Was just about to order it myself, just under £14 delivered to the UK.

Was more than happy with their release of Paradise Alley but the caps for Maximum Overdrive look a bit dodgy.

Hoping Silver Bullet is next as Studio Canal put all 3 of these Stephen King flicks out on DVD at the same time, hoping Pulp have the rights too

I just spot checked mine. It looks to be true HD and a little bit better than the Maximum Overdrive disc. I am going to watch it in full tonight, but so far it looks to be a decent upgrade. Paradise Alley was a nice transfer.
