It's a shame that Cockfighter is not being included in the box

Fantastic news. The Shooting is definitely worth checking out, a somewhat philosophical western dealing with doppelganger. RitW is just weak imo, and quite immature.

FYI: COCKFIGHTER is available on blu from Japan. I haven't imported yet so can't speak of A/V quality.

Agreed. I have the old Anchor Bay dvd which was not too shabby back in the day especially with the Warren Oates documentary.

I agree completely. I would love this one to hit Blu. If not, I may eventually have to bite the bullet on the expensive Anchor Bay DVD.

Great news! I had the chance to interview him back in 2000, back then he was very excited to see these films hit DVD, can only imagine how pleased he'll be with the Criterion treatment.
