Also noticed at HMV there seems to be a 'standard' and amaray edition this time around. Think I'll go for the standard, assuming it's the same as the digipack - despite the last one being easily damaged etc.

I watched the first three episodes of season 1 last night - Yep, Im impressed! Kevin Spacey is brilliant in this role. Will definitely be picking up the first two series later on this year.

Its a slow burner but stick with it you'll be pleasantly surprised how much you like it as you make your way through it.

Heard very good word of mouth about this season, but admittedly still haven't taken the shrinkwrap off of season one, yet. I have a terrible habit of buying tv shows when they're cheap and they languish on the shelf for ages.

Don't hold your breath. With Season 1 it seems only the forthcoming Japanese release had the 30 minutes of extras. These were certified by the BBFC but never appeared on the European BD we got in the UK or the US versions.

Sony don't seem keen on extras on their TV BDs except Breaking Bad. Recently got the Danish version of Masters of Sex S1 (is a pan European disk), but not yet scheduled for UK or US, and that is also extras free.

Any idea how much this'll be selling for in HMV come Monday? Bagged the first season yesterday and I'm enjoying it so far, so I might pick up Season 2 if it's a decent price.

£29.99. Glad to see the second season is in a thinner and weightier digipack to the first one, and seems to have some special features too!

Best offer is the Amazon exclusive double-pack of both seasons for only £33! Kinda annoying for those of us who already own the first season though...I might wait 'til the second season drops below £15-ish (probably not for another year, but I can wait).

Yeah, both will be on my birthday and/or Christmas lists at the end of the year. I might even wait for the January sales. Only trouble is I'm still waiting for some older HBO sets to drop in price (Treme in particular, gonna wait for a Veep boxset and need to get Eastbound & Down at some point).

Again I emphasise that if you haven't seen True Detective yet, don't hesitate in buying it. As for House Of Cards, watch it on Netflix first if you can, if not don't hesitate either.

Took a look at this today in the shop, we get a few extras but no commentary tracks sadly

The digipack is nice, but definitely thinner than the first season's one.
