Is there an escape character for the Title field in the advanced search form?
For example: I want to search for "The Horse's Mouth" (notice the apostrophe) [ https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/The-Horses-Mouth-DVD/23463/ ] If I search for the title verbatim, no results are returned. The returned search string from the system is: "The Horse\'s Mouth" (notice system supplied backslash). If I use the backslash as an escape char in the query form, no result is found. If, however, I search for "The Horses Mouth" (notice No apostrophe) then a result is matched. So, my question is: How do I pass the proper string; i.e., what is the correct escape character or correct syntax? Last edited by wm58; 04-16-2014 at 11:01 PM. Reason: formatting |

I'm also interested in this, specifically I wanted to search for "glago's guest", but I do not get any results, also searching for "glago guest", "glago", "glago's" or "glagos guest" did not help. How do I put in the apostrophe?

As far as searches being tripped up by apostrophes, just leave them out |

By the way, the title is just an unreleased Disney short. |
