Default Help - Any recommendations for a decent headset?

I recently bought the Plantronics 510 model, which was highly recommended and a bestseller thinking I will enjoy it, yet once i put it on, I was disappointed to find a most horrific connection. A lot of cutting out, and lot of feedback for other players, i could hear my echo, etc.
I put the mic level on 1, and turned my reciever off to reduce possible interference, but of course, it didn't make a difference.

So I ask you guys, does anyone own a headset (doesn't have to be bluetooth tech., or is that the only option for ps3?) which he can vouch for its goodness?

Thanks

Plantronics are typically good quality, but their range seems to leave something to be desired. I have a Samsung WEP-200 that I've had for awhile and I've been pretty happy with it. The sound quality is great, it's comfortable, and you can get a pretty good distance from your device before it starts to break up.

I've had Motorolas that I wasn't a fan of, and also a Plantronics I wasn't in love with either.

I started with a Motorola headset that worked for a while with some glitches here and there. Eventually one of the updates broke something and it got really bad to the point I could only get it to connect occasionally.

I bought the retail version of Warhawk since I needed a headset and the included headset worked flawlessly for me. I think it's the Jabra BT125 but I'm not sure. I've used it on several games and have never had a problem. The only downside is that it's a little uncomfortable to wear.

A headset made from Bose is pretty from what I heard plus their name is popular. I don't own any Bose equipment so I don't know if you're just buying the name or not. But I'm pretty sure they make good stuff.

I'm not an expert but I think the "cutting out", feedback and echo are the function of the internet speed that other people or yourself have.

I thought so too, but when i 'mute' it, i.e. turn it off, i can understand the people with no problem on my speakers while a second ago it was cut out on the bluetooth.
I think its the bluetooth technology, rather than the internet, but u could be right. I heard about a logitech USB headset, but sounds kinda uncomfortable to have a cable running from you to the console (hehe, remember the old days where everything was wired).
