Default HDCP & PS3 Question *Please Answer*
Hey guys, I have a 57" Sony KP-57WS510 TV. It has 2 component inputs, and one DVI input. Im planning on purchasing a PS3, and I understand that it requires an HD TV that is HDCP compliant. I read online that my TV's DVI connect supports the HDCP format, but my question is, will my component connection also support HDCP? I plan to connect my PS3/Blue-Ray player/upscaling DVD player through a component connection, and I need to make sure my TV will work well with it.
