Quentin Tarantino is planning on turning his Academy Award-winning Western into a television miniseries, according to USA Today.
While at the Cannes Film Festival, Tarantino said he has around 90 minutes of unseen "Django" footage. His plan is to combine this with the movie footage and cut it up into four hourlong chapters for TV. "Django" currently runs 2 hours and 45 minutes, but it has been widely publicized that many scenes were cut from the final film. Collider reports that much of the unseen footage features Django's wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington). It remains to be seen where this reported project will go. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/0...p_ref=tv&ir=TV |
