I haven't seen anyone post anything up on here yet, but my HBO UV titles are starting to migrate into CinemaNow and Target Ticket. Still no UV support on Vudu, but if you prefer to (or need to) use "lesser" services, HBO TV shows and recent movies w/ UV copies are transferring. This includes GoT, BWE, The Newsroom, Game Change and Clear History, amongst the others that are UV.

Nice to have one more option (although I have yet to watch any of my Flixster only titles, hardly any of my UV library to be honest).
I'm seeing Revolution, Boardwalk Empire, House of Cards & The Newsroom so far (some are definitely juust bits and pieces though and not full seasons). |

Just entered in both codes after searching for the names of the movies and they redeemed via HDX... then used those same codes right in iTunes via the redeem button and got those in HD!! ![]() |

What this thread is talking about is that the UV portion of the code - which is separate from the Vudu portion - is now starting to become available outside of Flixster. Previously, if you redeemed the code through Flixster, you could only access the title through Flixster. Now they're starting to show up in other UV-linked services except for Vudu. |

Is True Detective one of those UV's that doesn't pop up in linked accounts? I have my brother linked to my ultraviolet account. I redeemed True Detective in Vudu, but it doesn't show up in his. Is this the same for everyone else?

TV shows on Vudu usually aren't UV, they are just for the Vudu account that had redeemed the code or bought them on.

Some shows might crossover with connected Vudu accounts, but not sure how the 'Share my Movies' feature works or if you are connected that way or the old way with connected UV accounts. Also, keep in mind that this is an HBO show, and part of the reason why with HBO shows are able to be redeem three times (iTunes, Flixster and Vudu) is due to Vudu's considering HBO's series aren't UV enabled with them. So, it won't sync up/transfer with connected UV accounts. Now, as I mentioned, I am not sure how the 'Share My Movies' function works since that would disconnect me from the UV account it is connected to and I would lose some of my movies that I have on Flixster/CinemaNow/TargetTicket.

There are a lot of TV shows that are UV on Vudu. The share my movies is the same thing as setting up the sharing through UV's site, it only shares your UV collection. It does not share titles that are not UV.
You can have your brother redeem True Detective on Flixster, if you have the code and that part of it is "yours". He can then login to Flixster and watch it from there. |

I redeemed True Blood S6 on iTunes, Vudu and then on Target Ticket instead of Flixster, since Target now has the HBO UV rights too.
I couldn't get it to redeem on Flixster because it was glitchy and wouldn't stop twirling to get past checking the code validity. Happy for Target to be an added option! ![]() Last edited by emmikay; 06-14-2014 at 02:52 AM. Reason: Ediit |
