Glad to see GB2 finally getting a release, and some extras to boot. I wonder if the GB1 disc will include any more deleted scenes that weren't on the previous release, and which transfer it will include (old blu-ray or the masterd in 4k one)?

EDIT:Oh I see mastered in 4k...cool.

I'm glad I waited on the 4k disc of Ghostbusters then - it appears as if the second film will be mastered in 4k as well?

I Love the Digibook case... I'll buy it.

But they are still loving the BLUE instead of the Green background that would work better.. to be honest they should have went retro and used the logos and the black background. :-)

Glad we didn't have to keep waiting for Ghostbusters 3 to never come out in order to get 2 released on blu-ray.

Nice. I recently sold my Ghostbusters blu-ray so I'll definitely be picking this up.

Jesus, can't we get a stand-alone release of Ghostbusters 2? It's not even about the price really, I just have no desire to buy/own a giant cardboard box with a chintzy digibook and a plastic slimer figurine.

Oh, great. I already bought Ghostbusters twice and now I'm supposed to buy it again for the second film. Well, at least I didn't buy the steelbook edition. It looks like a nice digibook. I wonder if the specs for the first one will be identical to the previous 4K release though? (Might hold on to it just to make sure. However, I'd feel silly if it turned out to be the same.)

Hopefully a standalone release will happen or a digibook edition WITHOUT the figure. Otherwise, I will be tossing that up on eBay. (Plus a standalone of the second film... that would be preferable.)

It might still have higher bit-rates.

Then again... it might be exactly the same. I'm not sure if I should sell mine now or hold on to it.

How old is the transfer that was used for the last Blu-ray? I thought it looked pretty decent but will definitely buy this if it's a complete restoration. Don't remember much about the sequel
