I wish the main feature would play auto - Blu-ray Forum

Hi,

On some of my WB Blu Rays (or maybe it's like that on all of them) the movie plays when you first put the disc in. I wish all the studios did that. Why couldn't they learn from DVD that making people sit through a bunch of warnings or forced trailers (even if you can skip them one by one) is just a hassle.

Bless those studios that hide the FBI and anti-piracy stuff after the movie where most people will never have to see it.

sorry, I am quite the opposite. I love subtitle and in order to turn it on, I need to walk to my laptop to switch it on if the title plays immediately and does not take me to the menu.
the remote control for my laptop can access the menu, but can't take me to the menu as it is mostly intended for television tuner use
Besides, normally I watch the special feature first before the actual movie

I agree with the previews and warnings, but I love a good menu system at the loading of a disc. If done well, the menu can help get me in the mood for the experience that I am about to enjoy... while I setup my audio and options without possibly missing any content.
