If this has really good artwork (different from US Digibook) then I may be interested.

It's possible but I doubt it as Sony don't tend to region lock catalogue titles.

Canada is Region 1 as far as I know, so locking to region 2 would be rather retarded, pardon my french.

As others have said, depends on the artwork. If it's the same as the digibook, I'll go with the digbook.

He's from the UK, so he's wondering if it's Region A locked. It likely wouldn't be though.

I cant get over all the noise about the artwork in this, and the digibook threads. Its f$@#ing Ghostbusters!! Theres only only ever been very few variations on the same artwork.

They should release a version where, upon opening the case, slime explodes all over the person.

if this has bilingual writing on the spine or the cover I probably won't get it. I've always found as a Canadian that the dvds/blu's released bilingually are very aesthetically displeasing.

I never buy from another country just due to price and the fact that I'm afraid of the slippery slope of buying steels from countries that get way more steels than the US...but this will definitely be my first import purchase!

the dollar at the moment is weak on the pound. it's something like for a £1 you can get $1.70. so importing at the moment is a good idea

You guys want me to separate these into two threads? Also since looks like it'll be on Amazon.ca it might not be a FS exclusive.

I could've sworn when I responded to your post it said, "region 2 locked".

The Amazon listing might just be the discs in a regular keepcase, sort of like how the US only got Dr. Strangelove in a DigiBook, but Canada got both a DigiBook and a regular keepcase.
