What happens is that the movie studios send out lists of possible special editions to retailers to see if there's any interest. If retailers don't bid on the special editions, they're never made.

Solicitation requests don't count as actual exclusives. HDN shouldn't be jumping the gun, either.

This would be pretty eric if they release all of the seasons here in the US in steelbook form.

As long as they're unique and have new artwork though. I had the Target exclusive S3 jumbo but ended up selling because it was really bland looking.

Guidofistpimp mentioned that they could release SB for season 1 & 2 and a collector's set for season 1 so we'll see what happens...
